What is Health Coaching?

My health coaching programs help you to become your best self! If you feel like you may need to lose some weight, increase your energy or just feel better in your skin, then health coaching may just be for you. My coaching looks at all aspects of your life, not just diet, to determine how to get you on the right path to feeling your best. Together, we will work to implement small daily changes that will add up to big results.

 
 
 

But, what do you do?

This is a common question I get when I tell people that I am a health and wellness coach.   

Think of a coach you may have had growing up playing sports. They were there to guide you — teach you how to throw, jump, pass, etc. They were there to hold you accountable — if you didn’t show up on time, you had to run laps. And, they were there to cheer you on — score a goal, get a fist pump and pat on the back. Well, that’s what I do too, just with a focus around your health and wellbeing. I am here to guide you — what are healthy behaviors and how do we best create changes to achieve them. I am here to hold you accountable — are you sticking to our action plan and the goals we set each week? And I am here to be your cheerleader — celebrate all your wins and reframe “losses”. Together, we will create a healthier version of you that fits within your life, not that of someone else.

Ok, that’s cool and all, but how?

Right, another question that frequently pops up! I’m not going to throw a book at you and wish you good luck. How many times have we tried something like a diet plan on our own and failed? My hand is raised, is yours? Together, we will set goals based on you and what you want to achieve, build a game plan to achieve them and pivot when necessary. With weekly one-on-one meetings, educational tools and health tracking, we will realistically make changes, add good and healthy behaviors into your life and knock your goals out of the park! There is no magic wand (man, don’t we sometimes wish there was?) but together we can make a pretty unbeatable team that almost feels like magic.  

My goal is to help you create a life that is balanced, authentic and real. It’s all about progress, not perfection. Because, let’s be honest, perfection is B-O-R-I-N-G!  

So, if you want to begin your health journey with someone who will enjoy some cake with you on your birthday, but also meet you at 6am for a run and green smoothie, then I’m your gal!

1:1 Coaching:

You, me and that’s it!  Weekly coaching that is dedicated solely to you and your goals. My 10-week program will put you on the road to healthy and sustainable changes. This program allows for individualized coaching based on your goals, progress and needs.

  • Unlimited emails/texts during the 10-week program

  • Workbook for tracking and implementing healthy behaviors

  • Personalized goal setting and tracking

  • Monthly newsletter

Group Coaching:

You, me and 9 of our closest friends. My group programs are for those looking for a community to lean on while working though the 10-week program. It’s weekly coaching with a fun, group focus! Come prepared to share your story and know that you’re not in this alone.

Included:

  • 10 weekly group coaching calls (limited to 10 participants)

  • Unlimited emails/texts during the 10-week program

  • Workbook for tracking and implementing healthy behaviors

  • Goal setting and tracking

  • Monthly newsletter

10 Week Virtual Program:

You and me…virtually! The virtual program includes everything in the 1:1 and group programs, but is self-managed.  Weekly guidance, health tracking and educational materials delivered to the comfort of your Inbox.  This is my program without the coaching calls.

  • E-mail correspondence for guidance (up to 5/week)
